About Off Path Thailand was born from a personal desire to experience Thailand differently — away from mass tourism and crowded destinations.
Born and raised in Bangkok, I grew up in an international environment but realized I didn’t truly know my own country. Starting in 2018, I began exploring Thailand slowly and intentionally — the same way one would discover a foreign land. This journey of curiosity and discovery eventually grew into Off Path Thailand.
A Turning Point in Chiang Mai
A trip to Chiang Mai became the real turning point in the About Off Path Thailand story. Discovering hidden hot springs, forests, and quiet villages revealed a side of Thailand most visitors never see.
When I returned to Bangkok, I sold my PS4. Real places, real people, and real conversations suddenly mattered more.
Why Off Path Thailand Exists
About Off Path Thailand exists to offer more meaningful travel experiences. We focus on slow travel, hidden gems, local neighborhoods, quiet beaches, and genuine connections with Thailand’s culture and people.
